Hurricane Bulldogges

Our puppies are raised in our home and handled by children everyday. These are not AKC Bulldogs but OLDE ENGLISH BULLDOGGES.  This breed is sweet, loyal, athletic, lazy and protective all in one dog. (My dogs are lazy until playtime and then look out!)   Please do your research before buying any breed of puppy.

All of our dogs are registered with I.O.E.B.A. and WBA. Some are even triple registered with UCA.

The Olde English Bulldogge is an attempt to recreate the English Bulldog of yesteryear. Before bull baiting became outlawed in England in the 1800s, the bulldog had to be courageous enough to attack a much larger animal, agile enough to escape it, possess undershot jaws strong enough to bring it down while maintaining the ability to breathe, be almost insensitive to pain, yet friendly enough to be a pet. It was a medium sized dog with a large head and stocky body.

When compared to modern English Bulldogs, Olde English Bulldogges are more athletic and of very good health. They are less prone to develop skin and orthopedic issues. The males are free breeders and the females are free whelpers. The Olde has fewer breathing issues and is more capable of being outdoors in the heat or cold. However, because of their brachiocephalic (pushed in face) features, care must be taken to avoid overheating and providing shade in warm weather. They require minimal grooming, have a stable temperament and are trustworthy. OEBs are very trainable and thrive on pleasing their owners. The Olde is a capable protector and loyal companion which makes it the ultimate family member.
